ABOUT

I am an investigative journalist based in Amsterdam, specialising in the intersection of open-source investigation (OSINT/OSINV) and traditional research methods. My work often focuses on violent conflict, civilian harm, and human rights violations – areas where transparency and accountability are particularly challenging to achieve.

As a journalist, I am driven by a deep commitment to these two core values. My dedication to transparency and accountability not only shapes the subjects I investigate but also guides my methods of research and reporting.

Currently, I work part-time at the investigative desk of de Volkskrant, one of the leading Dutch daily newspapers.

In addition to my work as a journalist, I am passionate about sharing my expertise. I offer training sessions in OSINT for journalists, researchers, and students, helping them develop the skills necessary to conduct thorough and accurate investigations.

I am a firm believer in interdisciplinary collaboration and am always keen to collaborate on cross-border investigations.
